For Senior Level Technical Professionals

An engineer by profession, Mr. Tahir Jawaid has over 31 years of vast experience and expertise in Fertilizer, Petrochemical & Power Sectors.

Currently, he is working as the Chief Executive Officer at HPSL, which is a subsidiary of The Hub Power Company Limited (HUBCO). HPSL has been incorporated to manage Operation & Maintenance (O&M) of its existing power assets and explore other O&M business opportunities onshore and offshore.

Previously, he was associated with HUBCO as Senior Vice President (Corporate Services & New Venture), to develop Projects based on imported & local Coal. Before joining Hubco he was the Senior Vice President, Human Resources and Public Affairs of Engro Corporation Limited.

He also worked in the United States in various capacities for system and design engineering companies.

During his professional career, he held key roles in Management of HR, Planning, Materials Warehouse Management and Maintenance Management Systems.

Mr. Jawaid obtained MS in Industrial Engineering from the University of Houston, USA, and BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Engineering & Technology, Pakistan.

Asim has helped clients by developing future leaders, implementing best business practices, and coaching-based performance reviews.

In his last role with General Electric, as Region Director – Industrial Services for Middle East, Asim developed and implemented the expansion strategy that created a strong, customer-centric and profitable organization. Under Asim’s leadership, field services revenues profitably grew more than 6x and the business expanded to 12 countries.

As an Advisor in Engro, Asim played key role in creating and negotiating international EPC and equipment supply contracts during plant expansion. He was given Manufacturing Excellence award by Engro Chemical for implementing ISO 9000 system at Engro Chemical’s fertilizer plant.

Asim holds an MBA from Manchester Business School, MS in Global Energy Management, and Electrical Engineering degree. He studied advanced business and leadership at international universities.

He is a certified 6-Sigma Green belt from GE, and completed Train the Trainer programs from Association for Talent Development (ATD USA) and American Management Association (AMA). He completed Coaching program in GE, and successfully passed ISO 9000 Auditor/Lead Auditor training and certification. Asim also holds Divisional Certificates in Finance Management, and Manufacturing & Quality Improvement from AMA.


Supply Chain Specialist

He served at various leading positions in the FMCG sector for more than 27 years. His expertise span is in end-to-end Supply Chain and Research & Development. Noman has served on various boards and management committees of the organizations he had been associated with and has a keen interest in talent development and mentorship. He graduated from the University of Karachi, with a bachelor’s in Applied Chemistry and a Master’s in Foods Science and Technology.

Noman is a result-oriented supply chain professional with unmatched experience with Management and Leadership roles in FMCG, Supply Chain, and RnD.

Noman has performed as Supply Chain Director and Management Committee member in Unilever Pakistan and Sri Lanka (as International Assignee) for six years, Executive/Non-executive Board member at Unilever Pakistan. Further, he has been a Group GM for Executive Leadership Team (ELT) in EBM for three years and Vice President of SCAP (Supply Chain Association of Pakistan). Mr. Lutfi also functions as the Regional Advisory Board Member (EMEA-Region) of ISCEA (International Supply Chain Education Alliance) Pakistan. He is also working as a Chartered Member of CILT, Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (UK).
