Sitwat Farrukh
Sitwat has been engaged as a full-time consultant and trainer since 2008, prior to which she worked in the Corporate Banking and Credit Risk Management areas of renowned global and local financial institutions such as Bank of America, Standard Chartered Bank, Union Bank and American Express Bank. Her training programs are all custom designed to address the requirements arising from an organization’s Training Needs Analysis. She has covered a diverse range of topics including Credit Process Re-engineering, Lending Skills, Financial Statement Analysis, Cash Flow Analysis, Relationship Management, Effective Problem Solving Skills, Negotiation Skills, Emotional Intelligence, Anger and Stress Management, Goal Setting & Work Planning, Communication Skills, Change Management and Project Management. Sitwat’s banking career includes working at Standard Chartered Bank Pakistan as the Director and Head of Local Corporate Group on a pan-Pakistan basis, with responsibility for the largest corporate portfolio at SCB’s Wholesale Bank. Her credit experience also includes a Credit Risk attachment with Standard Chartered Bank, London, as well as guest auditor assignments for Risk Asset reviews with various SCB locations including SCB Malaysia. Sitwat has an MBA in Finance from the Institute of Business Administration, Karachi, and a Banking Diploma from the Institute of Bankers, Pakistan. She has received “Train the Trainer” certification and is a certified “Credit Professional” under the Standard Chartered Bank Expert Credit Program conducted through Omega Consulting. She is also a certified IFC trainer for Bank Risk Management. In addition to her diverse experiences in financial institutions, she has also worked as a pollster for the Gallup Organization in the United States.
