Tahir Barlas

Dr. Tahir Barlas is a renowned HSE Consultant, who brings 30 years of world class experience in managing & practicing HSE in various Organizations. He worked as Country HSE Manager for Shell Companies in Pakistan, GM - HSE PIA & GM Compliance and HSE at Azagard9 Group. Earlier he had a stint with ICI Pakistan as Occupational Health Advisor. He is affiliated with PSTD, MAP and EFP as visiting HSE Consultant. Dr. Barlas is also ITC ILO Global OSH Consultant & Trainer, involved in EOSH Projects in China, Bangladesh, Thailand, Turin Italy and Pakistan. He has significantly contributed in the area of HSE Compliance, Auditing, Training and Development and Implementation of HSE–IMS, Road Safety, Behaviour Based Safety, Ergonomics and Occupational Health Management across various Industrial Sectors in Pakistan. He is Lead Auditor for OHSAS 18001 & ISO 14001 International Health, Safety & Environmental Standards. Currently Dr. Barlas is assisting a number of leading organizations in Pakistan & in the Region as OHSE Consultant. He is CEO Barlas HSE Solutions and Country Head of Chrysotile Information Centre, Karachi, Pakistan.
