Brett Read is the creator of 4D Safety®, a leadership App that drives safety performance to create injury free operations. 4D Safety enables organizations to measure, monitor and develop safety leadership capabilities. Brett understands risk and human factors and what it takes to safely lead operations in high risk environments. His experience spans leadership roles in the Australian SAS, as a qualified senior sky-diving instructor responsible for running drop zone operations, and as a qualified wreck and deep diver, diving on wartime wrecks in the Pacific. Today Brett competes in various levels of Motorsport including tarmac rally and is also an accredited Motorsport Event Commander and Competition Manager. Prior to consulting Brett had 15 years’ experience in operations management working for multi-national Corporations and in the Australian Army where he served in the SAS Regiment as a Major. Brett’s experience has enabled him to develop a detailed understanding of the leadership practices required to create injury free operations in hazardous work environments.

In July 2013, Prof. Dr. S. Sohail H. Naqvi joined LUMS as the fourth Vice Chancellor of the University. Prior to joining LUMS he has served as a consultant on higher education to the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank and served as the Executive Director of the Higher Education Commission (HEC) for 8 years. At HEC, Dr. Naqvi was deeply involved from the first day with the transformation of the University Grants Commission of Pakistan to an autonomous ministerial level Higher Education Commission spearheading higher education reforms in Pakistan.
